Role: Design Lead
Lead a group of designers to develop a new logo, visual guidelines, templates, and assets passed on to the Imprint team.
Imprint, University of Waterloo’s student publication, has been running as a weekly newspaper.
The rebrand shifted the strategy to a web-first approach, with the print publication prioritizing evergreen stories with a stronger focus on visuals. This resulted in a higher pickup rate throughout campus.
